MARK & SARAH’S WEDDING

We photographed our first Dr Who wedding! Inglewood Manor on the Wirral gave Mark and Sarah their dream fancy location for some fun and fancy dress. The theme was perfect for these two who found their mutual love for the Dr by accident on their first date thanks to a sound effects keyring. They even brought it to their engagement shoot if you’d like to see.

Getting ready for the wedding at Inglewood Manor

Nom joined Sarah as she got ready in a beautiful room at Inglewood with her family. She was pampered by her hair and makeup lady. Then her Mum helped her into her wedding dress and her Dad arrived to escort her to the church. The keen eyed will spot the Dr Who details in her hair accessories, bouquet and shoes.

Mark got ready with his family and best man. Malc joined them there for photos as they suited up and headed to the church. Of course Mark had a Dr Who elements in his outfit too.

Their church wedding on the Wirral

The sweetest little flower girls and page boy were ready to meet Sarah at the door of the church. One of Sarah’s favourite moments of the whole day was seeing Mark waiting at the end of the aisle, then seeing all their family gathered to watch their vows.

After the service we loved seeing the guests lined up ready to throw confetti as the newlyweds headed for their wedding car.

The wedding reception at Inglewood Manor

We took photos around the gardens of Mark & Sarah, then invited the rest of their guests to join us for group photos on the stairs of Inglewood Manor.

Sarah’s Mum had arranged several surprises in the reception room, it was so lovely to see her reaction as they went to see the room before the guests came in. There were more Dr Who decorations for the table centre pieces and a fantastic cake made by Mark’s sister. I think my favourite touch was the Dr’s scarf running along the front of the top table.

We loved joining the rest of the guests for dinner and the speeches, complete with funny walk demonstration from the groom.

The party!

More friends arrived in the evening, some in Dr Who costume! They loved the Tardis photo booth which had hidden gifts inside: a Dr Who book for each guest. Many guests relaxed in the lounge while on the dance floor Mark & Sarah cut the wedding cake and had their first dance.

We’ve been to a few weddings in this family and they’ve all had one thing in common: a great party. These guys sure love to celebrate, especially with a conga!

Happy anniversary you two- Nom x
