INDY & MIMI’S WEDDING

This was an extra special wedding for us. It was our first wedding working alongside Malc’s sister, Vanessa who has her own floristry business: Floral Jazz. That would been enough but we also have loads of links with Mimi’s family and we were equally enthralled to get to know Indy’s side of the crowd.

Indy has family in Saltaire so they chose this incredible town as the setting for their wedding. Its a really special place and almost everything on the day was within a short walk. Indy got ready at his sister’s house with all his family gathered round. They could easily pop across the road to Victoria Hall with supplies and homemade cake.

The girls were just a short ride away at Hollins Hall Hotel. After a morning of wedding playlists and Bucks fizz they took vintage wedding cars to the church.

Rev. Caroline was waiting for the girls as they arrived, to check they were ready to walk down the aisle. Indy was waiting at the front of church with Lali ad Arj either side for support. We love watching Mimi and Indy connecting at the end of the aisle, these guys have a strong connection we could all see and it was one of their favourite moments of the day too.

In the ceremony Indy’s Mum did a reading and Mimi’s sister had written beautiful words to share with them. Afterwards there was a big ol’ love in on the stairs of the church as everyone rushed to congratulate them. The sun was streaming down.

As guests walked up to the venue we stayed behind for some photos outside the church and alongside the canal. Then at Victoria Hall everyone lined the pathway to sprinkle Indy & Mimi with confetti on their way in.

There were drinks and canapés followed by fond speeches in the main hall of the venue. A feast of Indian dishes were served up and the couple served their wedding cake as dessert.

Dancing was really fun- DJ Ziggy pulled off a stormer of a set, blending in a huge variety to get all guests dancing. The pizza pod guys served up perfect crispy pizzas. This happy night ended with everyone in little scrums of affection on the dance floor for the last dance.

“You were absolutely integral to the smooth running and feeling of ease that surrounded the day - we can’t thank you enough for your wedding wisdom!”
