GEOFF & ROSY’S WEDDING

It was really special for us to see Rosy and Geoff get married, and start their life as a family with Edward and Lucy.

They held their wedding reception in their new home and that’s where Geoff and Edward got ready for the ceremony too. Rosy was at her old house with her bridesmaid, flower girls and sweet little pooch (Hello Ruby!). It felt like a real coming together when the girls arrived at the church and Lucy led the procession to the front of church where her Dad and Edward were waiting. (It would be unfair not to mention that at this point I was shooting through tears- such a sweet moment).

Their ceremony was was heartfelt with extra blessings over them as a new family. As they walked down the aisle confetti canons fired from the balcony and showered the whole room in a burst of gold.

Outside we took some family group shoots before heading in to join the rest of the guests chatting with tea and cake. Guests sat back down to listen to speeches from Rosy's dad, Geoff and his best man. It was a lovely chilled out way for everyone to be involved sitting sipping tea, laughing at Dad jokes while the kids wandered around entertaining themselves.

After time to chat we headed to Sefton park with the bridal party for some photos before the sun set. It was a gorgeous winters day- but bitterly cold. We bundled the little ones up in whatever coats were to hand for the short walk to Geoff & Rosy’s house. On the driveway all their guests had gathered to welcome them to their new home and clapped as they climbed the stairs and opened the door to let them all in to the warm.

The different rooms in the house were filled with food and spaces to relax. There were games for the kids in the basement. Help your self sweets in the hall way. Food in the kitchen. Relaxing in the lounge. Heaters in the garden. the photo booth in a spare bedroom. And people enjoying things everywhere.
