Josh and katy’s WEDDING
Today we’re taking you to Swallows Nest Barn for this cosy Winter wedding.

Katy got ready with her bride squad at the Burnside Hotel. There was a real buzz. The bridesmaids and bridesman set off for the church in a cute VW camper van- we love this vintage choice to tie in with Josh’s wedding transport too.
Josh got ready at home and then hopped on his Vespa to head to the church with a couple of Vespa outriders to accompany him. Oh and he had time to nip to the pub for a quick drink with the groomsmen before the ceremony.

the wedding ceremony at St nicolas church kenilworth
The girls were greeted at church by the sweetest little flower girls waiting by the door. Inside the church looked beautiful with all its stained glass and simple, winter flower arrangements.
At the end of the service, we took group photos outside the church and lined everyone up for confetti. Katy just about jumped out of her skin when one confetti canon went off right beside her. Terrifying, but it looked pretty. They hopped in the wedding convoy and we all headed over to the most gorgeous venue.

We made the most of the daylight to get some photos with Josh & Katy at Swallows Nest as their guests arrived. Then headed inside to warm up.
There was dinner and speeches in the beautiful barn. Seriously, how gorgeous does it look in there with all the winter decorations?
Out in the courtyard, the wonderful team from Coco Caravan served up hot chocolates in exchange for tokens (which were the wedding favours). What these guys do is delicious and it was extra special for Josh & Katy who’ve been big fans of theirs at festivals for years.
A fresh flush of guests showed up for the evening. Josh & Katy opened a special bottle of champagne his family had been saving since he was really little then took to the floor for the first dance. The band was amazing, and so were this crowd on the dance floor. Katy and her Dad had a lot of fun dancing together (which we love) and they weren’t the only ones!
Flash forward a year and these two just welcomed their sweet baby Teddy- so double congratulations on your anniversary.
