We loved getting to know these two. We first got to hang out on their engagement shoot, when we explored their venue (One Fine Day) and took a walk around the Liverpool streets.
wedding morning preparations
There’s something magic about wedding mornings in Liverpool. Don’t ask me to put it into words, but especially with the girls there’s such a buzz. I guess they’re just really good at celebrating and love getting ready for a party.
They got married at Bethel church, a place which always seems to be full of our friends. Eilidh’s Dad is a church leader, so he lead the service and married him. Not many people get to do that and it was lovely.
It was really wet after the ceremony but Tom & Eilidh were still up for photos down by Liverpool Docks, because they’re great like that. I love where we ended up in search of a bit of shelter. And the photos we got of the two of them just chatting on the steps of a fire escape.
Wedding reception at One Fine Day
After some group pictures in the street outside we headed into One Fine Day to warm up and dry off!
One Fine Day is on our recommended list- not only for the fantastic space and gorgeous food but because the staff are great (welcoming, accommodating and go the extra mile). Though to be honest just the poutine would have been enough to put them on our list of favourites!
This one just kept getting better and better. The food then the speeches, the anarchy on the dance floor right through to their sparkler lit getaway in the rain.
