CHRIS & SARAH’S WEDDING

“You were fantastic before the wedding, being super calm with us and making everything as simple as possible.”

Pendrell Hall was the perfect setting for Chris and Sarah to celebrate their wedding, it’s elegant and laid-back with really friendly staff. We loved being their to take their wedding photos and to record the day with a wedding stop motion video (make sure you click play on that above). The video captures so many laughs: from the girls getting ready in the morning to all their friends on the dance floor at the end of the night.

Chris and the guys started the day off with a few beers. I love that the stop motion captures Chris’ face as he opens his gift from Sarah and her face opening his present too. Moments they wouldn’t have otherwise seen.

Sarah’s parents live just down the road from the church so all the girls got ready there and jumped in the wedding car to get to the ceremony.

the church wedding

Sarah’s Dad walked her down the aisle of this incredibly beautiful church. There was sunlight streaming through the window as Chris and Sarah said their vows. After a simple, quiet service they signed the registers and made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife! Outside, their guests were keen to congratulate them. We gathered a few family pictures and then set off to Pendrell Hall for the reception.

There was time for guests to explore this gorgeous venue as we took some more group photos. Then everyone headed through to the Ballroom for dinner and the speeches. And oh boy what speeches! This will go down as the only Best Man’s Speech we’ve ever seen get a standing ovation, and he totally deserved it. (If you’re looking for tips he embarrassed the groom without being rude, and shared some of the genuinely positive things the Chris had taught him)

It was a fun night with guests chatting in the Drawing Room and others hitting the dancefloor. The band kept things lively and were even joined by a bridesmaid for a one-song guest appearance. Pendrell Hall looked great all light up for nighttime as we left.

“Choosing a photographer was one of the hardest decisions we made during the whole wedding process. From the second we met you guys, you squashed any doubts we had.

We honestly couldn't thank you both enough, you captured our day perfectly.”
