JOHN AND AMY’S WEDDING
This was such a fun wedding day, John and Amy are delightful to spend time around. They packed so much colour and so much fun into their day.
I think it’s fair to say Amy was pretty giddy all morning, getting ready with her bridesmaids and a glass of bubbles. Her Mum and hairdresser were the perfect support team. John on the other hand was feeling a bit more nervous. He had his brother and nephew around to distract him from all the waiting.
Their wedding ceremony was so emotional. The bridesmaids walked down the aisle first, then Amy with her Mum. It felt like the whole room was willing them on through the nerves and tears as they said their vows and exchanged rings. Once the papers were signed John and Amy were much more relaxed and ready to have fun with their wedding guests. Everyone joined us out in the garden for drinks and photos.
We snuck off for photos with the newly weds before it was time for everyone to take their seats at the wedding breakfast. There were tears again during the speeches, but for all the best reasons. Amy’s Mum spoke beautifully about her daughter and brand new son-in-law. Then John and his Best Man had the whole room laughing with their speeches.
Dinner was tasty and guests were delighted with their fudge wedding favours in all kinds of different flavours. There were bubbles for the kids and we had lots of fun playing with them.
The evening entertainment was in a different room packed full of fun. Amy and John had organised a popcorn stall, sweetie cart and photo booth for guests to enjoy. And of course there was plenty of dancing. After their first dance the dance floor was full of friends and family having fun.
