ANDY & LOU’S WEDDING

What an incredible day! We love Liverpool weddings, each one we’ve done has been full to the brim with friendly folk. At this one, we fell in love with the Titanic Hotel it is an absolute dream for wedding photographers!

Andy’s crowd got together at his parents' house to get suited and booted. The girls were getting ready in the hotel, so they walked down the ceremony and were ready to get the show on the road.

We love how the light floods into this huge room. And while it might not look like a church wedding it certainly was one; these two sang their hearts out surrounded by their church family and it felt incredible. Andy had injured his wrist so they had to be extra careful as they put each others rings on, but everything went to plan.

Outside the ceremony room there’s a grand staircase so guests grabbed a drink and took their places for group photos. Then we headed outside by the dock to take some more relaxed bridal party pictures. It was a sunny day perfect for chatting with a drink in hand and there was plenty of time to do just that.

Inside, the wedding breakfast was served in another of the Titanic Hotel’s large industrial spaces. We love the simple decor Andy & Lou chose with copper and eucalyptus on the tables. They made postcards of Andy’s landscape photography (he’s incredible) as favours for the guests.

Tasty food was followed by funny speeches. We love that Lou did a speech too. She said her family knew she and Andy were good for each other before she did. (Don’t they always know what’s best!). Shout out to the best men: they had big, embarrassing printed photos of Andy, which is always a winner.

The sun was setting during the speeches making for a lovely atmospheric glow on the top table. We snuck out for a few dusky pictures of Andy and Lou. We love creating these quiet moments for the couple to take in their wedding day.

Evening guests arrived and we all got stuck into sweets, games and the delicious chocolate brownie wedding cake.

Funk Soul Family band were off the scale: The evening started with Andy & Lou joining them for a song and ended with a Bride vs. Groom team dance-off. Which was perfect for this couple!
