It was so much fun to be in on the surprise with these guys. We loved how laid-back their wedding was at Swallows Nest.

Skala got ready for the wedding with her mum, sister and baby Freddiy in the Swallow’s Nest Bridal room. We spent some of the morning tip-toeing around while Freddie was napping, which is super cute.
The guys got ready down the road at the Welcombe Hotel. Then arrived suited and booted to Swallows Nest ready to greet guests. It was great that Jordan could pop in to see Freddie and Skala, which took everyone’s nerves away before the ceremony.
Skala’s flower girls were a whirlwind of fun! They were so keen they’d sprinkled all their petals several times over before they even walked down the aisle.

Jordan and Skala said their vows in the barn. I love that they held Freddie during the ceremony. He was a star and even sat on the table for photos while they signed the register.
We all went outside for a tunnel of confetti with the guests and Swallows Nest opened up their cocktail bar!
Jordan and Skala didn’t want a chunk of time to be taken up with group pictures so we grabbed casual groups as they moved between different family and friends in the courtyard.
We took a little wander down to the river with Freddie. It was sweet to have a bit of time with these three and get some pictures.

How gorgeous does the room look for the wedding meal! The sunlight streaming in made the space really magical.
After the meal it was time for the speeches. Jordan had to go first with their big news: he announced they were expecting their second baby. There was so much surprise and delight in the room, it was wonderful. Also a relief for us to not have to hold on to that secret any longer! Did you spot their bump picture taken down by the river?
The wedding cake had been transformed into a gender reveal cake while we were all sat down for the meal. Skala’s sister was the only person who knew the gender, so she’d be tasked with the secret top tier and decorations. They cut the cake revealing pink sponge inside and family members set off pink confetti canons. It was such a fun moment, and sweet to then watch them have their first dance in a pile of pink confetti.
They had a great party and finished of the fun out in the courtyard again with sparklers for everyone.
