Lauren and harry’s WEDDING at hundred house hotel telford

We loved meeting Lauren & Harry for their engagement photos, it put us all at ease for photographing their wedding day. They really nailed the relaxed vibe, and Hundred House was the perfect place for it!

wedding morning preparations

Lauren and her family had an Airbnb which was a great space for a fun morning getting ready together. It was just a short drive through the countryside to their venue.

“We wanted the day to be really chilled and not too formal, which I think we managed! We definitely had a bit of a disaster with the hairdresser cancelling the night before but luckily we have hairdresser family friends!”

the wedding ceremony at Hundred House hotel

Weddings in the barn at Hundred House feel really intimate, it’s big enough to fit everyone in but not overwhelming. These two had a sweet and simple ceremony with the registrars then headed out for confetti and led the whole group round to the gardens.

their wedding reception

While guests sipped drinks in the marquee we took group photos in the Secret Garden. It was lovely to bump into some of the gardeners, they always make us feel so welcome, and point out good spots for photos where the flowers are blooming.

The speeches and dinner were back in the barn. Look out for their train table names- in honour of the place they first met (a cafe at a historic railway station!).

After food there was more time for guests to explore the gardens and grab a pint while the staff got the room ready for dancing. Then Harry & Lauren cut the cake, had their first dance and got the party started.

One of our favourite things about Hundred House weddings is that we get to set up the photo booth on one of the balconies. It’s the perfect spot where guests can come take silly pictures, write in the guest book and chill out for a while. There’s a good view of the action - and the evening buffet!

“we loved every second! But we both quite enjoyed when everyone got up to Tenacious D”

Happy anniversary you two! - with love Nom x

“Honestly we can’t speak highly enough of you both Nom and Malc! Most guests we have spoken to have commented on how great they thought the photographers were. The whole day you were both completely on the ball and knew where everyone needed to be. But you were also super friendly and were like part of the wedding party- quite a few guests assumed you were family friends! Genuinely can’t thank you enough for adding to our special day”
