Alex and Amy's wedding party at Castle View Farm and Stables, Leicestershire

Aaaand it’s round two for the lovely Alex and Amy! If you’ve been watching our blog, you might remember that Alex and Amy’s wedding was one of the few we were lucky enough to shoot last year. It was a small and intimate do, but they were determined to have the big fun party they’d originally planned at Castle View Farm and Stables in the gorgeous Leicestershire countryside.

Alex and Amy hosted the whole party at Castle View Farm. They started everything with a ceremony in the downstairs of the venue, where they renewed their wedding vows. There were some adorable flower girls, and Alex and Amy walked in and out together, which was a cute touch.

After the ceremony, everyone hit the courtyard for cookies and fizz. We had a good laugh with some group shots against the backdrop of the stunning Leicestershire countryside (and a few friendly sheep in the neighbouring field). We got a few couples shots in too, and we loved seeing how relaxed Alex and Amy were. One of the lovely things about a two-part wedding is that it can take away a lot of the pressure on one big day.

The party moved back upstairs in Castle View for the meal and speeches, then back out for more fun and games in the courtyard and on the bouncy castle - more of these at weddings, please - followed by some top quality dad dancing. Thanks Alex and Amy! We had an excellent time.
