Heather got in touch looking for some quirky headshots to use on her new website.And since she lives really near to us Nom was delighted to walk round to her for a photo shoot!
Did you know that we work with independent businesses to capture the spirit of what they do? As well as headshots we photograph their events, facilities and products, and teach photography lessons to help them get better photos to use online.
Of course you should bring your dog to your headshots session- it wouldn’t tell the full story to leave her out!

Dan and Alice's engagement photos in Redditch, Birmingham
We’ve met these guys at a few weddings and hopefully, it’s their turn in spring! We met up for a dog walk across the fields near their home to talk about all their plans for the rescheduled wedding day. Of course we couldn’t leave their dog Digby out of the fun, having him around made this into a really chilled shoot.
I loved how enthusiastic they were talking about their venue (Cider Mill Barns). They first went to see it before the building work was complete and now they’re such big fans that we can’t wait to see it either.
I love Alice’s face in these last few pictures. It’s the look of relief after we walked a little closer to the cows than she would have liked! Sorry Alice, hope you think the photos were worth it!

Baby River- relaxed newborn photos at home Birmingham
I loved taking these newborn pictures for Charlie & Laura at home. This little squish is 2 weeks old and is the sweetest little thing. She slept almost our whole shoot, you’ll see what finally woke her up - after she’d slept through a nappy change and being licked by their dogs!
These quiet moments on newborn shoots are utterly lovely- just being able to gaze at a brand new little one and take them all in. I love being able to hear how brand new parents are getting on, and seeing how they’ve already become experts in their new job.
Don’t these pooches absolutely make this family photoshoot perfect! They are so lovely and interested in the baby, as keen to keep her safe as they are to lick her. It was a lot of fun to get photos with them. And it wasn’t the first time with Bobby either- he featured in Charlie & Laura’s engagement shoot (click here if you’d like to see how much he’s grown)
River woke up in the bathtub! Look at those gorgeous deep eyes and towel-wrapped snuggles. Seriously, newborn shoots are like magic.
