The third session for Issy! We wrapped up with lots of play, snacks and animals. I love how much goes on in a third session of our One Year Package compared sleepy stillness of the first session. Check out her walking and giggling.
It’s pure magic to get to capture kids three times throughout a year, we get to see how much they’ve changed and how the seasons play a part, but my favourite is that we get to capture their weird little phases. In her second session Issy was obsessed with a silicone pastry brush and just wanted to be standing all the time. By session three she’s moved on to running and had her first ride on a horse.

I love getting to capture the tiny, personal family routines. How they always sit her in their laps to bump down the stairs together. And how she insists on kissing characters in her story books. The sort of things you might miss, fleeting phases, family memory gold.

It’s so fun to spot the changes in the home too, signs of a new little housemate growing up.
