Whatever fun you fancy, lean into it
Sometimes it means going with the fun as it appears on the day.
When the kids suggested a game of hide and seek Sarah and Paul went with it. And it turned out to be one of the best bits of the day. Wedding venues are perfect for hide and seek!
And the kids and adults playing together was perfect. Something which took zero planning, zero budget and slipped in to a quiet part of the day.
Sometimes that means holding on to the weird and whimsical ideas you daydreamed about together while you were wedding planning. And keeping them in the plan even when the timeline or the budget might try to direct you to something more ‘normal’
We love it when our couples have something in their day which is just 100% silliness.
When we’re in the planning stages and they are giggling at their plan to have a duck race or booking their favourite food van. When they’ve got a trick up their sleeves which will shock their mums. Those are the things we really really hope will make it into the final day.
And if we can make it happen, better believe we will.
