Danielle got ready with her Mum, brother and bridesmaids around for moral support. It was just a short drive to St Francis of Assisi Church in Bournville in their vintage wedding car. There was a jazz festival in the village that day and as a special treat the Bournville chimes struck up “Here comes the bride” just for Danielle as she got out of the car.
Her brother took her arm to walk her down the aisle. D & N said their vows and exchanged rings, then after some songs and readings they processed out of the church with their bridal party in tow. There were such affectionate greetings outside and the whole crowd gathered for photos next to the church. The chimes struck up again playing “Congratulations”- capturing the happy mood perfectly. Guests threw confetti as the newlyweds hopped into the wedding car together to head to Rowheath Pavilion for the reception.
It was lovely day to be outside and there were lots of members of the public to wish them well as we headed to the lake for some photos with the new Mr & Mrs. We joined the rest of the guests out on the lawn for a spot of crazy golf and a glass or two of their wedding cocktail. The fun continued inside with the buffet and then speeches from the Groom, both his parents and the best man.
The bride and groom had their first dance and kicked off the evening’s entertainment: there was dancing, a sweetie table and a message frame for the guests to leave their messages.
