GEZ & ELIZABETH’S WEDDING
This was a lovely, sweet wedding day full of simple pleasures and with so much heart.

The girls got ready together, doing each others make-up at Elizabeth’s house. The little flower girls arrived and in no time we were ready for the short walk to church. Gez and his team were already at the church greeting guests as they arrived.

St Mary’s church was a great setting for a grand bridal party procession. There was strong singing and preaching (Hi John!) with a real sense of the whole congregation being involved and backing the couple. They exchanged their vows, signed the registers then left the church to greet their guests and be generously sprinkled with confetti.

We went to the park with the wedding car to take some photos by the lake and make the most of a beautiful spring day before carrying on to the Poole High School for the reception. The space had been transformed, when we arrived it was packed with guests and beautiful food. There was huge buffet to feed everyone. Then the speeches featured a recording of Elizabeth as a child to back up her Father’s anecdotes and there were lots of other memories from Gez and the Best Man in their remarks.

The Mother of the Bride’s moment of glory came next as they cut their spectacular cake which she had made and decorated with a cascade of delicate icing flowers. Before the newly weds left we gathered everyone outside for Elizabeth to throw her bouquet, then we waved them off towards their honeymoon.

Don’t miss out on the stop motion video we made of this lovely wedding!
