Maybe its the european in these guys… they certainly know how to romance!
Emeline had the girls in her family, her hair and make up team with her for the morning to help with preparations. Meanwhile Freddie had a whole team of lads to join him for breakfast.
Her Father drove her to the church where the sweetest bridal party were waiting to escort her down the aisle- her sister’s children. Freddie stood with Best Man Huw for the entrance of his Bride. Thanks to some good connections, Freddie’s friends provided beautiful music throughout the ceremony. Rev Jon Triumphant lead them through their vows with the gorgeous backdrop of St Mary’s Horsham stained glass windows. At the end the Bride and Groom lead their friends and family down the aisle and along one of Horsham’s oldest streets to their drinks reception. There were sprinklings of confetti as we walked and more fantastic music to greet us at the other end.
Freddie & Emeline hopped into their wedding car ( a great wedding present from a friend) and we headed for the Old Green Barn. There were arrival drinks of Pimms for everyone in glorious sunshine outside the barn. Then a BBQ feast was dished up, much to everyones delight.
Speeches from unaccustomed speakers went down hilariously well from the Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man. Then a Swiss tradition- competitive games for the wedding guests including a lego build a trumpet competition and a Britain vs Switzerland quiz. There was cheese and cakes- many made by guests and a whopper of a brownie wedding cake by Freddie’s sister.
More incredible music started with the first dance and continued to delight the crowd. It was the perfect evening for sitting outside in between dances and guests had a lovely time.
