DAVID & GEMMA’S WEDDING
David and Gemma’s wedding felt like the start of spring!

David started the day at his parents house, then headed across to Pitt Hall Farm with his groomsmen in the wedding car once they were all ready. At the same time Gemma was over at the Apollo hotel having her hair and make up done. The bridesmaids and family joined her for the finishing touches and we headed out to the wedding.

Guests gathered in the sunshine outside and took their seats for the ceremony before Gemma arrived with her parents the wedding car. The bridesmaids walked down the aisle in front of Gemma and her Dad, then the tissues were passed around to wipe away tears! Pulling themselves back together David and Gemma said their vows and the registrar pronounced them man and wife. David’s Dad read a beautiful poem and they signed the registers with their witnesses.

Outside their family rushed up to give them hugs and grab glasses of fizz. David and Gemma headed off for a spin in the wedding car and we sent them off with a sprinkle of confetti. When they returned it was time for a few group shots in the garden- in the fantastic spring sun! Then their wedding coordinator whisked us off on a tour of the farm for photos of the newly weds.

We returned to a feast of BBQ served before the speeches. David took the hit with jokes from both Gemma’s Dad and the best man. He took it on the chin, but I’m not sure his Mum has recovered!
Everyone took a little breather before the evening fun kicked off. David & Gemma cut the wedding cake and had their first dance accompanied by their wonderful band. The crowd loved the band and stayed on the dance floor singing after the end of the party.
