ALICK AND HELEN’S WEDDING
There was an extra dose of celebration for these guys as they were about to move to China for two years. Alick was tasked with the final moves out of their home as well as getting himself ready for the wedding.

Helen and the girls had a more relaxed morning: they went out for breakfast, popped into the nail salon and had their hair done. Then headed back to their hotel to help Helen in her custom made dress from designer Naomi Clare.
A Morris Minor took the Bride and her Father to the church where she was greeted by her Grandad (who was presiding over the service). There were lots of smiles in the ceremony with a reading from Winnie the Pooh after the Bible, followed by visuals to go with the sermon which kept the crowd delighted. Freshly married, Alick & Helen hid while their guests got armed with confetti then sent them off on their way to Woldingham.

At the village hall guets basked in the sun with lawn games, live music and industrial quantities of Pimms. Everyone then settled on blankets for wonderful outdoor speeches.

A hog roast made for a tasty wedding breakfast and guests found their places at three long tables. When dessert was announced guests were also told to switch seats for conversation with a new bunch of friends.

When everyone was finished eating the room was transformed to ceilidh mode and the band set up on stage. The celebrations went large with lots of excitable dancers and a playlist to keep the party going long after the band had finished. You can see how silly things got in the booth slideshow below!
